The UAE government has introduced Long term residence Visa (Golden Visa) in the year 2019. This Visa enables expatriates to live, work and study in the UAE without need for any sponsorship and allows 100 percent ownership of their businesses in the UAE. These visas will be issued for 5 and 10 years and renewed automatically.

UAE government will provides golden visas to the following;

•         Investors.

•         Entrepreneurs.

•         Researchers in fields of science and knowledge.

•         Outstanding Students with promising scientific ability.

Eligible for a 10 - Years Visa in UAE.

The following sections are eligible to apply for a Ten-year residency in the UAE.

1-      Investors in public investment of at least AED 10 million.

Granting a visa is subject to the following conditions:

The amount invested must not be loaned. The investment should be retained for at least three years. There should be a financial solvency up to AED 10 million. Visa can be extended to include business partners, on the condition that each partner contributes AED 10 million.

2-      Researchers in fields of science and knowledge.

This includes Specialized Talents and Researchers in the field of science and knowledge such as doctors, specialists, scientists, inventors, and creative people in the field of culture and the arts. The visa benefit extends to the spouse and children. All sectors are required to have a valid performance agreement in the special priority sector in the UAE.

Eligibility for a 5-year Visa in UAE.

The following sections are eligible to apply for a five-year residency in the UAE.

1-       Investors of a building in the UAE

Granting a visa is subject to the following conditions:

The investor must invest his assets at a total value of not less than AED 5 million.  The value invested in real estate should not be based on the loan. The property must be maintained for at least three years.

      2- Entrepreneurs

This category includes those with an existing project with a minimum value of AED 500,000, or those with a national business incubator permit. The businessman is allowed a six-month entry visa, which is renewed for another six months. A long-term visa includes a spouse and children, a spouse and three managers.

       3. Outstanding Students

This Category Includes the Extraordinary students with a minimum grade of 95 percent in public and private secondary schools. University students within and outside the country having a distinction GPA of at least 3.75 upon graduation. The Families of outstanding students can also apply for the long term visas.
